Amy Adams has fear of flying

The “Night at the Museum 2″ actress – who plays aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart in the new movie – is so scared of planes she will only board one if she can sit by someone she knows.
She explained, “Certain American airlines don’t assign seats and there have been times when I couldn’t sit next to my fiance. I’ve had a few meltdowns trying to get someone to change seats with me. ” Despite enjoying playing Amelia, the 34-year-old actress – who is currently expecting her first child with fiance Darren Le Gallo – admits she is very different to her character.
She said, “I see her as a woman who’s ahead of her time but also having fun, embracing that sense of adventure – it’s about believing in yourself and your passions and making the most of the time you have in life.” (Showbiz)
