Cameron Diaz’s heart become stronger from Father’s Death

Cameron Diaz has opened up about her father’s death last year - insisting the tragedy has helped make her a stronger person. Emilio Diaz died suddenly at the age of 58 from complications with pneumonia in April 2008 and the Hollywood star admits the sad news had a profound effect on her.
But she has managed to move on from the tragedy and learned to appreciate all the good times she shared with her beloved dad. She says, “I think emotionally it definitely took its toll. It’s the human experience. You know, that’s what the heart does. Things are given to us, and things are taken away. And I think the heart becomes stronger, more capable.” (WENN)
