Freida Pinto secretly married

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE star Freida Pinto is secretly married to her beau ROHAN ANTAO, according to reports. The Indian actress was said to have called off her engagement to Antao last week (15Jan09).
But Britain’s Daily Telegraph alleges that the couple actually wed in Goa, India in 2007 – deciding to keep the marriage under wraps to give Pinto a greater chance of winning film roles. Now she has reportedly split from her husband as her blossoming movie career leaves her with little time for romance.
A source tells the publication, “Freida and Rohan fell in love at college and were extremely close. They were great together. The marriage was an impulsive decision and both of them went to a designer to get the gown made.(WENN)
