Gwyneth Paltrow is handing out advice for people whose partners are struggling with addiction – just weeks after opening up about a former lover who was obsessed with drink and drugs. The Hollywood actress, who is now married to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, recently admitted one of her ex-boyfriends battled substance abuse while they were together – and blamed his addictions for wrecking the relationship.
The “Iron Man” star has taken to her Goop.com website to confront the problem of addiction, telling readers, “Have you ever loved somebody who drinks until their usually charming personality is usurped by a monster? Or discovered that someone you adore is throwing up after every meal?How do we become enslaved by addiction? What is addiction?” And she goes on to post answers from a variety of experts on how to deal with a partner’s obsession.(WENN)
