Kate Moss hates being famous

Kate Moss is nothing like the partygirl she’s portrayed as in the press – and insists she hates the fame her success as a supermodel has granted her. Moss is as famous for her off-the-runway antics as her fashion achievements thanks to high profile relationships with the likes of Johnny Depp and rocker Pete Doherty. In 2005 she was photographed snorting a white substance during a recording session with Doherty, prompting a huge drug scandal, which threatened to derail her modelling career.
But Moss insists she’s misrepresented in the media and actually tries to shy away from fame. The 35-year-old mum says, “It’s not me, it’s a character I’m made into. I have no idea why people are interested in me. I don’t like being famous. It encroaches on your life a lot. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually. But it’s something I’m learning to deal with.” (WENN)
